How to Make Windows Bootable USB Flash Drive with Rufus.
Requirements:
- For this procedure, you need to download Windows (8,8.1,10, etc) ISO file and Rufus.
- You can download windows iso files from Microsoft’s official website.

Method to make bootable USB by Rufus:
- After downloading the Rufus software, now go where it’s downloaded and double-click on it to launch. If prompted click Yes.
- Insert your USB Pendrive and that has to be minimum 8GB and also make sure that the USB Pendrive is installed properly and there must not be any file or data otherwise it will be deleted during creating Windows bootable USB.
- Under the Device section, make sure your USB Pendrive is selected correctly.
- In the Boot selection section, select Disk or ISO image.
- Now click on the SELECT option to select the Windows ISO file and click Open.
- In the Partition scheme section, select MBR or GPT.
- Everything has been selected correctly then click on START.
- Here you will receive a pop-up warning that all data on the flash drive will be destroyed. If your USB Pendrive is empty then click OK.
- The process has begun and you have to wait until the process is fully completed.
- You have successfully created a Windows bootable USB flash drive with Rufus. Your Windows bootable USB is ready and now click CLOSE.
